Understanding
Paramount

Creating comfortable healthcare environments through advanced technology and compassion, the Paramount Bed Group remains dedicated to excellence. Here, we introduce our business operations and the unique value we deliver to our stakeholders.

1
Founding of Paramount Bed Group

As a pioneer of medical beds in Japan, our journey began in 1947 with the founding of Kimura Bed Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Our founder, Ryusuke Kimura, personally spearheaded product development to engineer Gatch beds specifically tailored to the Japanese medical and nursing systems, as well as the unique physique of the Japanese people. He bestowed these innovations with the brand name “Paramount Bed.”

Over many years, we have cultivated deep-rooted relationships of trust with a diverse range of partners, including medical institutions, medical equipment dealers, nursing care facilities, welfare equipment providers, rental wholesalers, and distributors across the medical, nursing, and health sectors. By sharing insights into needs and innovative ideas that we could not uncover alone, we collaborate closely with these stakeholders to address and resolve complex social issues.
